Session 11 : Why the DTS - Faith and Character
A Discipleship Training School, in many ways it is one of the most foundational aspects of Youth with a Mission. Why do we have it, and why is it the entry into YWAM? There are many reasons people do a DTS from entering into missions, starting a degree with the University of the Nations, or even just to further one’s walk with the Lord. In the book of 2 Peter 1:5 is says “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge.” In this session, Loren Cunningham, the founder of Youth with a Mission, breaks down the key aspects of a DTS and why they are so vital to the DNA of YWAM. He tells the stories of some of the miraculous moves of God in the early days of YWAM.
