Session 13 : Old Testament
Welcome to the next topic, the Bible. The Bible is the inspired word of God and is the single greatest written work of all time. Over this session and the next, Jordan Weatherson takes us through the whole story of the Bible to give you a clearer understanding of the complete story. This perspective is vital in understanding how we fit into the larger narrative of God’s relationship to His creation. We are going to approach this through the 4 “sons” or image-bearers of the story. For this first session, we are going to look at the old testament and the first 2 “sons.” This starts out with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and then moves to the nation of Israel and God searches for someone to carry His image in the world.
