Going is an online course platform produced by YWAM Lausanne. Our courses are designed to equip, train, and empower people to grow deeper in their faith. In keeping with this vision, we have made all of our video content freely available both on this site and on our youtube channel. There is also a digital workbook and additional assignments available for those who would like to take any of our courses for U of N extensions studies credits. Currently, we have two different Going courses, Bible and Pre-DTS.
Going Pre-DTS is a course with roughly 25 hours of content including 8hrs of video teaching over 21 sessions designed to be taken by students coming for a discipleship training school. The course covers many of the basic elements of the Christian faith and some background on Youth with a Mission. With teaching from key YWAM leaders from around the world, the aim is to get students excited and prepared to jump into their DTS. We have designed the course to be easily run at any base who would like to use it. Additional resources including U of N registration templates, the digital workbook, and answer keys are available to any base who would like to run the course free of charge by emailing jordan.weatherson@ywamlausanne.com.
Going Bible is a course designed to teach anyone how to study the Bible in-depth for themselves. The course is roughly 100 hours in length including 18hrs of video teaching over 44 sessions and teaches the basics of the inductive method while taking students through 6 key books of differing genres. Students will also learn how to meditate on the scriptures and apply them practically to their everyday lives. The courses can be taken remotely at any pace by anyone.
