Session 04 : The Jesus Style Classroom
What would it look like to learn from Jesus directly? All around the world classrooms look more or less the same. How would this look if Jesus was the one teaching? Well, for three and a half years Jesus showed us what this could look like with the way He taught His disciples. In this session, Markus Steffen, the president of the University of the Nations, breaks down and explores that hands-on method of teaching Jesus models for us in the gospels. We call this the "Jesus classroom," where lectures are embedded in experiential learning. We see this exemplified in stories like the calming of the waters and the feeding of the five thousand. This revolutionary learning-while-doing approach has been the blueprint for YWAM courses around the world. Let's dive in and see how this shapes the DTS approach to discipleship.
