Session 20 : Intercultural Relationships: Testimonies from the Field
God is the Creator of all things, and throughout his creation, we can see great beauty in vast diversity. One of the ways we experience this beautiful diversity is among other cultures. However, those differences can also challenge our personal values and the way we understand life. Jesus calls us to make disciples of all nations. That means that as we set out to fulfill this mandate, we will encounter, work, and build relationships with cultures different than our own. Jesus Himself is our master example, as he stepped down from His divine nature and lived among us, as one of us, to love us and teach us how to love. In this session, we will explore how we can make the most out of our cultural experiences. We will talk about the importance of growing in both understanding cultural differences, as well as growing in our ability to expand our world through working and relating with other cultures.
